email activations

The GunAddicts.com website went live on September 1st, 12:08am EDT quite successfully. Some members who registered however, more particularly with email accounts hosted by Rogers, gmail & yahoo, were not all receiving our automated activation links by email. These emails were either going to trash, junk/spam folders, or never delivered at all.

This issue is out of our control and part of the reason behind it is that the gunaddicts.com domain is new to the "world" so some of the bigger providers have to "learn" that it exists and will eventually stop assuming it is fake. This of course takes time and eventually will not be a problem.

We've also made additional changes on September 2nd, 11:00pm EDT to further help ensure delivery of the activations. We're also going through our new members list daily and manually sending out activation emails where we see members have not activated their account.

Please note: If you think you have registered, but never received an email, it could be that you completely entered in the wrong email address when you signed up. This has already happened in some cases so please contact us using our contact page and inquire about it. Also sure to check your mail spam/junk/delete box, the activation email could be there.
