Sending a message.

I only seem to be able to send messages to people who have an item listed or to reply to someone who messaged me, but otherwise I am not able to contact other members. Is there a way to contact other members or is this not something you want happening?

On GunAddicts.com, you can only contact a member if they have an item for sale, or reply to messages you have received from other members about your items for sale.

This keeps communication specific to the purchase or sale of items only, and also drastically reduces any chance or possibility of members receiving spam from unwanted solicitors.

Maybe I as sellers should be able to pm all the bidders?
My winner is not returning my pm and it look like it will not sale
I would like to offer it to the next high bidder,if not I will need to relist the item.

Send us the listing ID through the contact page and we will look into it. It could be they have not logged in, and not read the message yet. We do have periodic notifications going out to members who have unread mail after a couple of days to help.

Also, this is a good time to mention that if a member wins and item and does not follow through with a transaction they will receive a warning which is flagged on their account. Too many warnings, and a member could be temporarily suspended or banned from using our service.

We appreciate that a "second chance offer" might be a solution to this problem, but it would introduce new problems and does not go after and address the real problem of people who commit to purchasing an item and then back out. We do not want these people on our site. Buyers and sellers are committed to completing the transactions as indicated in our rules and policy. Remember that GunAddicts.com is a FREE listing service who will ultimately earn a reputation by the members who use its service. As a FREE listing service, our time is much better spent delivering new and useful features than to address a few bad apples who do not use our site properly or follow the rules. Misuse will not be tolerated.
